Can you mute the ringer by pressing screen or volume when someone calls?

Was wondering if you can mute the ringer quickly. Say, if the phone is ringing and you know you don't want to answer it. Or you forgot to turn off the ringer in church or something. Is there a way to just mute the ringer WITHOUT sending the caller to voice mail immediately (by pressing ignore).

Flip the phone over and that will automatically silence the phone while still ringing till it hits your voicemail.

you can press the down volume button to silence, or press ignore to send directly to voicemail.

Or turn the phone over like said above.

You can also mute the ringer by pressing the top power button.

You can also set it to quiet the ring on pickup. It doesn't turn it off but it turns it down pretty far. Go to Settings > Sound & Display > Quiet ring on pickup

i think it does actually silence it because my ringtone cuts off when i pick it up lol.
