I got mine from Verizon a while back, huge mistake but I run it mainly off my home network. Anyway, this is a lame question to those of you that know what you're talking about but I have no idea.
So can I root it to this? I followed all the steps on the youtube video link.
When I got to the " joeyrimsdax1rootv7, copy, go to start, my computer, PHONES MOUNTED ON SD CARD right click, the PHONES MOUNTED ON SD CARD was not there. I looked around but never found it.
Is this because I'm on a netbook, My PC is old, lame and I rarely use it...
Or is this because I just don't get it.
I almost shot it to pieces but having my contact list in gmail is what saved it/me.
    Thank you in advance.
Btw, I quit smoking 6 days ago and have no patience.

Can you update the Moment with a netbook? Absolutely! For your connection issue, do you have debugging turned off ( menu > settings > Development > USB debugging)?

On the phone or on my netbook?
This is probably why I shouldn't try because I have NO CLUE about computers.

Has anyone rooted the Genbook? I downloaded a terminal ap, but everything I have tried so far tells me "you do not have permission". How do I give myself root or sudo permission?
