    Hi everyone
First let me say although this is my first post I have used this site a lot and it has been excellent in finding all types of interesting and cool information regarding my phone so thanks and keep up the good work everybody:)

Now for my question: Is there anyway of turning my Samsung Galaxy S2 into an access point using only the 3G that will allow my other devices to connect to it and have access to the Internet, and also can this be done without rooting.

I ideally want to connect my iPad 2 through my SG2 as I wasn't paying another

Applications --> Settings --> Wireless and network --> Tethering and portable hotspot --> Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings.

    Hope this helps :).

I know I can connect my WiFi devices (I don't have an iPad) with mine open plan phone from NetCom. Menus as listed about.
