Candy Crush is so laggy on Samsung Galaxy Tablet 4

Hello, I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 4 7 inch. I installed Candy Crush on it, but it's so laggy. Everything moves in slow motion. Has anyone experienced the same problem like me? Please help.

BTW, my tablet is running on Android 4.4.2

Often, there may be some apps running in the background. Try clearing the multitasker first before running games. That often helps. Also, try turning off any of the preinstalled apps that you don't use. That usually gives the device both memory and cpu power back for other apps to use.

Haven't played Candy Crush for a while. Does the current version annoy you with a lot of ads? I haven't loaded it yet on my tab4. I got the nook version recently, as I have a Barnes and Noble account full of nook books.
