Last night, we made a big announcement to our beta testers. Today we make the same announcement to the world. Cannibal Open Touch v2.1 will be released on Saturday, December 1st, 2012!

This is an extremely big milestone for us, as it will be the biggest release of Cannibal Open Touch to date. We have doubled the number of supported devices, and have implemented many fixes and some awesome new features.

A preview of what's to come:
1. Updated and streamlined menu layout
2. Support for custom themes stored on the sdcard (or the emulated sdcard in the case of the Nexus 7 and Nexus S 4G)
3. ADB Sideload (also backported to the CWM5-based recovery)
4. User-controlled touchscreen calibration

Supported Devices:
1. Amazon Kindle Fire
2. Asus Nexus 7
3. BN Nook Color
4. LG Optimus S
5. LG Optimus V
6. LG Optimus M
7. HTC Droid Incredible
8. Samsung Nexus S 4G
9. And more to come!

This thread was created to provide our beta testers a public place to share with the world their experiences and what they think you should be excited about. We normally do not permit our testers to discuss what we're doing prior to public release, but we feel this release is important enough to warrant an exception.

This is easily one of the best recoveries for the OptiS around, if not the best. It's a solid, reliable recovery that cannibalizes the best parts of a bunch of other recoveries into a ROM flashing dream.

If you want to flash custom ROMs on the OptiS, you want this recovery.
