Cannot save a .jpg using Email app on MotoDroid

I have the Motorola Droid on the Verizon Wireless network. It's doing great however I can't find a decent Email app that I can also use as a widget. So I'm stuck with the default Email app on the phone.

I use it to send pictures to myself. However I can view the attached picture but when I try and save it:

"Sorry! The application Email (processcom.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I try and try and the same. I have not tried using the Gmail app though.

Can someone help me?

hmm, first of all why send pictures to yourself? are you trying to get pictures from computer on your phone?

Well it started when I wasn't at home on my computer. I was using a friends but I wanted this picture; I didn't have my usb so I thought just email it.

I did try Gmail and it does work. But I use two different accounts and I'd like Email to operate properly.

well if you have a picture saved on your computer-hoping it's a mac you should be able to send pictures via bluetooth. otherwise you can save the pictures to facebook and access them on your phone.

unless you got the bluetooth firmware update, then it doesn't work
