Help Cannot take pics, says preparing SD card

I am using a SanDisk 8bg sd card in my Moment, but whenever I activate the camera, it just says "Preparing Sd card..." and just sits there. I can take videos, but soon as I slide the switch to still camera mode, the message comes up again. Any idea how to fix this?

I had this once. I had to move everything off my card, reformat, open the camera and let it do its thing and then copy the stuff back without overwriting the DCIM folder, though.

Thanks, I will try that. Any special way you formatted it, or just FAT32?

Yes. I think you can also format from the phone but I don't have mine with me right now to verify.
