    Hi,

Got the HTC One X and all was fine for a few weeks.

Now when I try to download new apps or updates from Google Play using my mobile data connection, my notifications just says "...(paused)" and nothing happens. It works fine when I'm connected to my Wi-Fi at home.

Am new to smart phones so don't know if its HTC, android or vodafone who I need to speak to!

    Please help!

    Thanks
    FW

Can you get any mobile data? Email or Internet? If not, then I'd contact Vodaphone. If you do have mobile data in other areas, you might have to go to menu>manage apps and find the google play store and clear the cache and clear the data (in that order). You will have to re-accept the licence agreement, but it will clear up problems with downloads.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

Mobile data connection is fine for everything else. Just tried clearing cache and then data but it still pauses when downloading. As soon as i reconnect to Wi-Fi it start downloading.

That's unusual. I know that the Play Store (market) uses port 5228 for downloads and sometimes causes issues you describe over Wifi but I've never heard of it for mobile data. You might want to check with Vodafone to see if your sim is provisioned correctly.
