Can't figure out how to use this Android deviceSupport

This question refers to the Galaxy Tab 2, 7.0.

The Samsung manual is useless. I want to know how to use the thing and I can't find anything anywhere that will help. Example:
I can't figure out how to make this thing display program icons in alphabetical order.
I installed Firefox for Android and can't find it in application manager nor on the screens containing apps icons.
I can't figure out how to make bookmarks/favorites in the browser.
I can't figure out how to make a screen that contains launch icons for the apps I use most.

These aren't the only questions I have. I don't know enough about its operations to even get far enough with anything to even run into a problem for which I need to ask a question.

    Isn't there a manual somewhere?

You use a long press and pick the app you want on the desktop.

I did a fast check through the forums, and saw nothing for extreme tablet beginners. so here's another link that might help.

    1. I don't know about you, but on Galaxy Tab Plus 7.0, the icons in the app drawer are automatically arranged alphabetically. But for the settings, go into app drawer, tap the icon on the upper right that looks like 3 horizontal lines, select "view type", then alphabetical grid.

    2. It may not have been installed properly. Try again.

    3. For bookmarks, it works exactly like Chrome or Firefox on the PC. The stock internet browser for Samsung has a star on the URL bar. Tap that (it turns yellow), to bookmark the current page you are on.

    4. Long press on any icon in the app drawer, then it will show you the homescreens. Drag left and right to view the other homescreens, then drop it on an empty space to put it there.

I remember you have a Note? Not really sure if your note is modified, but my Tab, despite being on 4.0.4, has very little difference in usage from my Galaxy S on 2.3, so I never really needed a manual since I already learned to use my phone. Just treat it like a bigger version of your Note with a misplaced apps button.

If you are talking about the tiny (6 pt type print) that comes with your device I agree with you that it is useless.
I found at samsung.com the pdf file with the 200+ page manual. I think most of your questions can be answered in it.
    Good luck.
