Help Can't lock phone using lock screen app

hi,after updating my galaxy s2 to ics 4.0.4 from 4.0.3, i can't seem to properly lock my phone using any lock screen app available. the screen turns off for a second, then it turns back on again, with the unlock screen showing.. is there any way to prevent that from happening? the apps were working properly on ics 4.0.3...

Changes were made to the OS that means lock screen apps need to be updated in order to work. Try this one, I'm sure there are many others.

There is an option under configuration for you to enable that prevents the lock screen re appearing.

Hi

what is the app you are using.

I am using "turn of the lights" it works fine on 4.03 but when I tried a 4.04 Rom
it behaved the way you described.

another app screen off I think its called worked fine with 4.04

most of the apps i searched for on google play has people commenting that it doesn't work on ics 4.0.4... so i am not sure which apps can actually work :/ but now i know
