cant move apps

I recently upgraded to 2.2 on my HTC Wildfire. I have the low storage space coming up. Yet when i go to manage applications and the downloaded apps, there is an option to mve to SD card however it isn't highlighted so I cant select it.. HELP!!

Some apps can't be (or shouldn't be, like widgets and services) the others, it's up to the developer to make them available from the SD card.

If you are inclined, you can set the default install location to the SD card following these instructions:

How to Install Apps to the SD Card by Default on Android 2.2 Froyo | larsa | Androinica

This will install every new app onto the SD card and allow you to move existing apps. You still don't want widgets and system apps on the SD card, so if you install any new ones you should go into application management and move them to the phone.
