Can't wipe sd:ext

When I go to install different custom roms, my recovery image won't allow me to wipe sd:ext partition. What i mean is when i go to wipe it i get this message "Error : Run "wipe ext" via adb". I'm using Ra-heroc-v1.6.2. Anyone know what to do? If not, does anyone know the code to do this via adb? Searched for quite a while there and am now turning to you guys.

do you have your SD card partitioned to used an EXT partition and apps2sd? if not, then of course it can't wipe it... if you don't plan on running apps2sd then don;t bother wiping what isn't there just wipe data and davlik
