Root Captivate Backup?

    Sorry if this is a repeat, im very new to Android and a little confused on backups.

    I rooted and then did this after downloading clockwork/rom manager:

    How to Install ClockWork Recovery:
    1. On the menu there should be an option labeled

    Yes this is considered a nandroid backup and yes Titanium Backup is definitely one of the best for apps / sys data

    I wanted to backup the Cognition ROM i just flashed to. I clicked "backup current ROM". Then it took me to the reboot screen. Do I select reboot now or reinstall packages to save the ROM?

    it should take you to the clockwork recovery menu, not the regular recovery menu, and from there you select backup/restore.
