Just spoke to the manager of my local carphone warehouse store. He said the sgs2 will be out on 1st May for vodafone and o2. For those looking to upgrade through t-mobile then it will be a month later in June.

I'm in the same boat, I will be waiting, sgs2 has the better spec, ram, screen, android version.

Yeah, I'm totally confused as to what to do. This will be my first android phone, and I'm not a massive talker so 300-500mins should do me fine.

I can afford either, and I like that this phone is thinner too. The GS1 was a very good phone, so I'm told, so I'm sure this will be great!

Can you buy it directly on 1st May or must you wait sometime to get it. Been waiting to get my first Android (and expansive) phone for almost 2 years now. Any details on the RRP?

Apparently cpw have 700 in stock now! They are waiting for the all clear to sell.

The Guy told me that it won't be on T-Mobile first, probably a month after.

On the plus side, T-Mobile have added it to the coming soon section.

Why can't cpw sell the gs2 unbranded phones on the Tmo network? I got an unlocked n900 from cpw on Tmo upgrade.
