Carrier name on Notification Bar

I'm using the Behold 2 on Wind in Canada. Whenever I leave the home zone there are roaming charges. On the phone, the carrier's name changes from "Wind Home" to "Wind Away", but this is not apparent on the home screen. Is it possible to customize the notification bar to show the carrier's name?
