change folder icons

    i searched the net on how to change folder icons but i cant figure out how except for this app that actually creates a folder and if you want to edit the folder you have to use the app, not really what im looking to do cuz i already have folders i just want to change the icon. anybody have any ideas

    I would imagine you can do it with Bettercut.

    I'm not 100% sure though, since I use the evil app you're referring to :)

    It's called FolderOrganizer for what it's worth

    Sorry man. The only way other than that, at least that I know of, is FolderOrganizer. Are you sure you can't do it with the paid version of bettercut? I tried it out briefly and I thought you could create custom icon shortcuts to existing folders. It's not EXACTLY what you're trying to do, but at least you can use the existing folder setups you have.

    Apps Organizer has a nice selection of folder icons, sorts by name, and allows you to "star" favorite apps so they show up at the top of the folder list. Pretty sure it was free, too.

    A nice alternative if you can't find another way.

    Yeah. I used to use this. It's basically the free version of Folder Organizer. He doesn't want to have to set his folders up all over again, though.

    i emailed the dev of bettercut and they said you have to have open home to change folder icons
