Every phone does this except the Incredible, so I must be missing something...

How do I change the settings so that when I receive a text message, it will beep every 2, 5, or 10 minutes after that? Right now, it just beeps once and if I don't hear it the first time and it's in my pocket, I just have to keep checking my phone.

    Suggestions? Thanks

i've been looking for "reminder" beeps for a couple of weeks on android phones. This feature is not on droid or incredible. A green LED light will flash on top right of phone when there is a missed call, txt, etc. I miss that feature too. I've learned to just glance at phone periodicaly to see if green light is flashing

well you can download SMS Popup or Handcent, and it does reminders for you, but I dont think there is a way within the default message app.

handcent SMS let's you set the reminder interval. I was slow to warm up to it but it's my default now.

I also found an app called "Easy Reminder."

    Thanks
