Change theme/icon without rooting.

Hello guys,

I've nexus one and I am a non-rooted guy. Is it possible to change theme/icons in my nexus one without rooting?

You can create custom icons/shortcuts with a program like Bettercut. For themes, try some alternate launchers like Adw or LauncherPro. Adw has downloadable themes on the market and LauncherPro gives you some great custom dock options.

Yeah.. that's great.. I've installed launcher pro. But there is no option for themes.

Not "themes" per se, but you can change the dock backgrounds, what icons are in the dock, etc. You'll have to manually change each shortcut icon separately, so if you're like me, and you change "themes" often, just make shortcuts and keep them in folders for later use.

I've also found that Desktop Visualizer is a much more streamlined version of bettercut, it's free but offers less functionality.

You can find icons all over the place. Try Iconfinder | Search and download free icons or deviantART: where ART meets application! and search for icon packs or specific icons. Also, look at some of the many screenshot threads around here for some ideas.
