changing colors ?

    anyone else have an epic that loves to display colors at different levels on webpages ? for instance this page can be light blue and 2 seconds later more of a royal blue in color ? weird if u ask me

    Are you sure its not your vewing angle making it seem that way? Do you have your brightness setting set to automatic?

    its def not the angle. it is set on auto .... also just noticed its for anything I view not just web. sms too

    Try putting the dimming mode into manual and set the brightness a little past midway. see what happens. Make sure you also uncheck power saver mode.

    what is power saver mode ? I seen it before but didn't know its exact function

    Its under settings / sound and display. Its goofy even if you have dimming set to manual if this is checked it will still adjust and dim the dam screen. I have it all turned off. You also have another dimming setting in the stock browser under settings then "more" then brightness. This is totally independent of the master dimmer settings. Its nuts to many dimmer settings.

    could it be the way the screen just appears in heavy sunlight ?

    Yes, because with LCD type screens exterior lighting can effect color and viewable clarity in general. Also it will look different in florescent and tungsten lighting.
