All the apps I have downloaded to my Pulse are backed up onto my SD card. Can I just pop my card into my new Desire and use Astro (or some such thing) to copy them all or do I need to start again from scratch?

Thought that'd be the case. Will make a note of what I have, just to be prepared. Thanks.

    Are the apps .apk files?

If so you can run the installer files from the sdcard using astro or such like

    Yep, what he said :p

However, did you backup every app? Are some of your apps copy protected (says private in the backup tool of astro)? These will not be backed up so make a note of those

    Cheers all.

Whacked in the old SD card, installed Astro, everything transferred over like a charm. That saved a huge amount of time!
