From the home screen, if I press 'phone' and then the keypad icon in the bottom left some of the numbers have a chevron on either side of them. I thought that possibly it indicated that the person had more than one number but that is not the case.

    Any ideas?

Do the numbers ring? Is it just an aesthetic thing, or are the numbers actually wrong?

    The numbers are fine.

I think I have figured it out - not the same as understanding it.

The chevrons appear for someone who has more than one number - or is 'linked' to another contact.

I don't know how anyone got linked to someone else, or possibly themselves yet.

I also don't know how to use the chevrons, possibly you need to go into the persons details and pick a number apart from their primary number.

    Still all a bit confusing!
