Any body else find it strange that Google released Chrome for the iphone, yet no Android phone without ICS can utilize the "original" Google browser? Especially considering that 90% of Android phones are still rocking Gingerbread or lower.
you can download chrome for your phone, it is in the android market, i am not sure if it is beta still or official.
but chrome is available for download in android market... err google play store

Yea, you have to have ICS to download. Which is what I think is weird because there are no special requirements for ios. Why would Google alienate their own proprietary platform and not Apples?you can download chrome for your phone, it is in the android market, i am not sure if it is beta still or official.

You're not missing much... Chrome on my Xoom is not a good thing. Definitely my least used (if ever) browser.
Personally, the main thing I want on ICS is Chrome. I guess I'm kind of a purist.
How does it compare to Dolphin HD Mini? The main thing I want Chrome on my phone for is Sync. I'm also hoping that it doesn't have any of the scripting errors like Flash browser. I'm sick of opening a mobile page on a tech site and having it scroll all o Er the place while I'm trying to read, then having all the text squish to the left side into little dots. That's the only reason I ha e even tried Dolphin, but a browser that extensive is too much work when I could already have Chrome set up.
Chrome messed up my phone. Had to reinstall the leak.
I agree. Especially after playing with the ios Chrome on my daughters iphone. The bookmark and tab sync is simply awesome in itself.
I haven't seen a big benefit to using Chrome. I really wanted it for accessing my desktop's favorites, but I don't see why that be done in the stock browser.
In fact, I can get a website's plugin to work in stock, but not in Chrome. So I have to use both.

There isn't a leak for Chrome. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Chrome anyways.
If you've installed ICS its in the Market.
So my point is Chrome is not a leak. It's official and stable.
