:specsdroid:Hey guys, sorry for the wait.

Newly compiled CM12 Unofficial Beta for Lg Volt (LS740)
I take no responsibility for any bricks or anything you do or don't do to your device!

Most things work but some things don't. You must remember Cyanogenmod12 is still Beta, and updated constantly. Meaning that something that works in a particular build, may not work in the next.

Still some bugs.... major one being LTE/4g

As Always be sure to have a BACKUP!!!

Not sure what fully works and what doesn't. Feedback welcome.
Thanks to all of our devs for our device. And thanks to our community, you guys are awesome.
ENJOY!:thumbsupdroid:

@Bad_MOFO_33 I'm using it now and this is nothing short of amazing! 3g works perfect, I don't use 4g because of my data plan but I can try that too. WiFi,sound,GPS,calling and sms works via hangouts for me and youtube etc too but the setup was super easy and let me choose what apps to install intially. I enabled root in the dev options and that works great. I'm itching to try xposed so I'll see how that works but props to you and @invaderjohn this is awesome! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! I snapped a few pics so peeps can see what it looks like :) cheers!

Looks great, tried it, smooth, but couldn't find ART runtime in developer options. Bad_MOFO_33, InvaderJohn doesn't believe in overclocking (read it in his thread), so could you please use attached OC CPU config in your builds acpuclock-8226.txt. but rename to acpuclock-8226.c and replace in:/kernel/arch/arm/mach-msm/ before compiling kernel? A custom ROM without overclock doesn't make sense to me--especially CyanogenMod, right? This file defines freqs up to 1.6GHz. The freqs just have to be defined in this file to be used in SetCPU Root, etc., or likely the performance settings in CM12 too, but the latter may also be affected by an additional config file, dunno. This CPU config file is from the Moto G2 FalconExperience OC kernel for the exact same CPU as ours (link to source file was in my OC thread), so we know these defined frequencies absolutely work for our particular CPU. But, we could always add more if 1.6GHz wasn't high enough.... Thanks in advance! :)

Just so everyone knows, there's an option called "Expanded Desktop" in the Display settings that can hide the navigation bar and/or the status bar. You can still slide up from the bottom of the screen to get them back. It does mess up the display of some apps, but it's better than a persistant navigation bar on a phone that doesn't need one.

Great work devs!

Edit: Hiding only the navigation bar doesn't seem to mess up the display. Hiding the status bar does.

I thought this ROM was the only one being built with over clock potential. Someone had said that in another thread. Were they wrong? No oc? Haven't flashed yet, really attached to my xposed theming, but I will be switching to this soon! How's the battery life and charging, anyone? Can you charge the phone with three power off, for faster charging? Cm11 causes the phone to reboot and lose touch sensitivity if you try, really hate that..

Flashed the new boot.img and this is what I've noticed...
- rear camera is working
- flash is not working with camera, but is working with torch app
- camcorder says its recording but does not save video
- vibration now works
- a few times now when trying to wake the screen it will be unresponsive... Holding the power button to force reboot or pulling battery is only thing I can do

I have installed a few themes and played with several settings so I could be the reason screen becomes unresponsive so I may try a fresh install to see if anything changes

All in all running good!!

Camera flash does work. Just can't force it on, seems to react to the light? Sensor on the front of the phone...
My screen unresponsiveness has not shown up again since changing back to the stock theme

Thank you for trying this out for everyone and letting us know how it works!

However, I have one question,

Does your charging still work? The OP hints that it may not after flashing the other boot.img.

Funny you should ask, was just about to post..I thought charging was working as the battery icon in the notification bar shows a lightning bolt...however when I go to battery in settings it says "not charging"
So no I don't think it is working...

Edit:
Tried hooking USB to my work PC and I get the same results... Also my PC is not recognizing my phone.. I do get a notification for adb on my phone but that is all
