Anyone following this? Some of you must be. This is really interesting to watch unfold. Nebraska to Big10 and Colorado to Pac10 already. UT is trying to take a bunch of teams to the Pac10, but Texas A&M is flirting with the SEC. Reportedly, the SEC commish is in college station today to extend an invite to A&M.

Things are about to reeeeeeeally hit the fan. To make this android related, I'd much rather see "A&M vs LSU" on my sportstap widget than "A&M vs Iowa State" :)

Doesn't matter how it shapes up. Big 10 are still going to be overrated. SEC is still going to be the best. And the Gators will still dominate the SEC.

As an alum and rabid fan of Mizzou -- the school some would credit/charge with prompting this whole realignment -- it is both fascinating and harrowing. A week ago, Mizzou to the Big Ten seemed like a foregone conclusion. Now, not so much, and we could end up in that pack along with K-State, Kansas, Iowa State and Baylor that aren't in a conference that has a BCS-automatic home within the next few days. I do think that if things really start to shift (i.e, Pac 10 becomes Pac 16) we'll end up in the Big Ten. Right now, though, we've all got our hearts in our throats...

well looks like the teasips managed to **** everyone over, as expected. They couldn't stand the thought of A&M joining the SEC and opening texas to sec recruiting so they stopped their plan cold in its tracks and got a sweetheart deal thanks to the big cigars in austin that got the governor to step on the A&M board of regents. Its the sort of cronyism that would impress even our president and wall street.

Pretty ridiculous how Texas now gets a larger TV contract over every other member of the Big 12. I feel sorry for the Pac-10, they were mainly aiming for Texas and Oklahoma...instead they just got Colorado lol (at least it looks like the Utes will come along as well).
