I thought the idea of a a tablet was it was half way between ur phone and ur pc. Allowing you to remain in contact with the world via the internet in a nice plastic portable device. Hense the wifi that comes with it.

So the one place that most people onto the net for to remain in contact is facebook.

However I've gone travelling with said piece of plastic only to find its not facebook book friendly. I can only load 5 photos at a time which takes an age in itself only to crash and I dunno if its uploaded 5 photos or not. I need to download flash player in order to multi uploading of photos.... which isn't supported by my lovely sumsung note 2 10.1.... any clues to fix this???

The device you mention does not exist.

You are mixing up 2 different devices.

    Galaxy Note 2 - a phone with a 5" or so screen
    Galaxy Note 10.1 - a tablet with a 10.1" screen.

Whichever you have, if the WiFi you use is slow, FB will be slow too.

Can't remember if its the note 2 or the 10.1. But that doesnt answer my main question of how do I get to upload more the 5 photos onto fb at a time if i cant downloaf flash player. I refuse to believe they made a tablet thats not compatible with fb when its probably one of the most used social media websites. I took 2500 last month and still only got 79 uploadrf and that was mainly usc.ing a hostels computer.

Is it a phone or a tablet? I'm pretty sure you can tell the difference from a 5 inch screen phone and a 10.1 inch screen tablet. If not then I think it is not the device that is not working correctly.

Its a samsung galaxy note 10.1, not a phone......you guys arent friendly or helpful.

A helpful person would say if its this one this is the solution. If its the other one this is the solution to that one.
So sorry I not a geek

People are just being sarcastic, have a sense of humor. Its good to laugh at ourselves (and others) sometimes.

A few thoughts on your original post.
1: Have you downloaded the Facebook app or are you attempting to use the full web version of Facebook? If its the web version, try the app from the app store, its designed to work with a non-flash android device.
2: You can download a version of Flash. Search for the thread in this forum for a download link. Adobe is no longer supporting it though, so it is an older version and is a little buggy (in my experience at least).
3: Try some different browsers if you are having issues with web surfing. Some work better than others.

Not sure if any of this helps or not. I don't really use Facebook so couldn't tell you from first hand experience about how well it works on this tablet. Good luck!

I dont mind people making a joke about it as long as its like u ponker fancy not knowing what u got Haha but here's the solution u silly girl.

Just making one sarcastic one after the other without trying to actually help is rude.

But thank you for your reply, I tried looking for the Facebook app on the samsung app store but it didn't show up ill take another look otherwise ill try that flash download you mentioned :) thanks

Do not look for FB app on the Samsung Store, check it in PlayStore.

Ya, don't use the Samsung app store for anything, the Google play store is where you will find any android app in existence.

Quite true, there is unfortunately one sarcastic poster in here that everyone tends to copy.

I'll also agree that the tablet definitely is not Facebook friendly, I believe the Tablet version is a fairly close copy of the phone version, except, for me at least, some of the options don't work, like about etc, and the display for pictures etc is just not scaled properly... Facebook on the web, the tablet version, is one option, but it's a pain, at least until Jellybean comes along for me (assuming u can double webpage screen), ... So yeh, I stick to my phone for Facebook, still amazes me how far behind apple, android FB updates are.

Interesting that you mention slow photos too, i've actually compared my s2, to an iphone 4 and the facebook app loads photos significantly quicker. That said, FB is the only thing apple does better imo

I find using Google Chrome to access facebook much nicer than the official app. Make sure you tick the desktop site option in Chrome so it loads larger images
