Help Confused New User

Hi there,Recieved a nexus 7 for Christmas,and need help with how to use my music tracks as an alarm.Have tried a few things but can't seem to get anywhere.Can anyone help?What is the best app to use and how do I use and how do I put my music onto the alarm app?

Give Ringdroid a try. I have used this app for years and it is fantastic. You can cut your music files and save them as ringtones/alarms/etc.

yeah.. copy the music file into the folder listed above. then they should appear in your list of alarm options.

You can put audio files in the /sdcard/Alarms folder and they will be available in the list of alarms for any app that allows you to set an alarm.

Back again. How do I copy music from Google play onto Ringdroid?

I'm afraid you can't do that directly from the tablet. You have the option to make a song available offline but it's not downloaded as an mp3 so it can only be used by Play Music.
You can however download it to your pc using the browser and copy it over.
