conncwcting to wifi with proxy

I cant get my apps to connect to internet on wifi with proxy.
I am using a rooted Samsung galaxy y.
Only internet explorer works.
This is really bugging me.
I have used proxydroid ,orbot and auto proxy.
If anyone has a solution please reply.
If anyone has used the above apps successfully on sgy please give the detailed settings.

try droidvpn. its on google play.

its easy to use.. u just have to register an account in their website.

it is available for free for limited usage or go premium for unlimited usage.
