I bought a 64GB USB3.0 Flash drive thinking I could connect it to my Note 3 with a 9pin USB3.0 OTG cable but kept getting "Damaged USB storage" message when I connected it. The drive works fine on my PC (Windows 7). So, I just did a live chat with Samsung support and they said, "unfortunately, the device is not supported, at this time." Meaning only USB2.0 flash drives can be used with a OTG cable! Does this sound right??? Has anyone else tried using a USB3.0 flash drive as external storage via an OTG cable? I would think it should at least connect if even at a slower speed. Thanks!
