Support Constant Install

    Lately anytime I download a new application, it continues to install even after I gain access to the application. Even after reboot it still appears to be installing. I figured out how to stop it after each download but the fix is only temporary. Any ideas how to permanently stop it? Thanks

    have you cleared the Market data? If not , go to the home screen and enter your settings , applications, manage applications , and then the tab for "all". Scroll down to the market and clear the data. You may have to log in , but it ' s a good thing if that's the case as it's like getting a fresh start from it. It may "forget" that it was having a
    problem to begin with.

    Yeah, clearing market data should take care of the problem.

    Yes that has helped but then the problem begins again anytime I download something new.

    I read that clearing the market cache (not data) fixes this (and it worked for me).
