I've noticed while texting that the little robot icon beside my contacts name is sometimes upsidedown and other times he is rightside up. Just an observation. Does this have any meaning?

I have noticed it as well but never really payed any attention to it. I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. I will keep an eye on it though to see if anything in particular causes it. Hopefully someone here has an answer for you. It definately does occur though.

I don't think so. I've not been able to find any rhyme or reason. Very strange...at least I know it's not my imagination

Im glad someone else asked about it, cuz I've noticed it too, but I've never seen any rhyme or reason to it either!

Hi! I also have a droid powered phone and in my contacts' list, I've noticed that!! Except some are just in different corners and some completely upside down, like you mentioned. I think the different facing robot icons are for different carriers. Because I have Verizon Wireless, and I have a friend who lives in Canada and their icon is in the bottom left corner, while a friend who I KNOW has At&t's icon is upside down. Hope I've helped... because I've wondered the same thing!
