    I really wish I could have two contact lists...one for business and one for friends/family/everything else.

    you can just make different groups

    You can make groups and set up each person to be in a group. Then when you go in your contacts, scroll over to the second icon on the left (the groups icon). I can't think of any other way to do it. Hope this is what you're looking for.

    Yes, but wouldn't it be nice to have the option to specify which list shows up when you launch People instead of it defaulting to All?

    if you really need two, one for work and one for family/friends you could always create a separate google account for your work stuff. not sure if you would be able to set which ones show up in people but it may be worth a shot.
