Just thought I would ask if this problem is the same on all Hero's?

I have created contact and want to edit to show their birthday.

I have found that if I put the birthday in (using the tumbler style numbers) and then press 'DONE' It displays an incorrect date.

    For example if I put in 12-31-44 ( December 31 1944) it displays January 1 1945
    If I put in 01-01-45 (January 1 1945) it displays January 1 1945 correctly

Can someone check if this is the same on their Hero's? all dates before 01-01-1945 display incorrectly, all dates after are ok.

Have you tried 31-12-1944 (dd-mm-yyyy)? ;) Mine even says "Day", "Month", "Year" over the wheels :)

Ha Ha  Yes I have, but it still has the same result! anytime before 1/1/1945 displays 1 day later

You didn't say what yours does?

Wow, it's not just me. I have an Incredible, and it bugs me. I'll use the number tumblers and put in the CORRECT birthday, but it is one day off when I click OK, but when I get out and check the saved contact info, it IS correct! How frustrating. So, I've learned to keep inputting correct dates, expect to see the wrong one, but the REAL one really does get saved.

Don't know if there is a way or place to report this problem, but I'm experiencing it to.

I have gmail contacts that are synced to my phone (LG Vortex running Android 2.2).

The birthdays are correct in gmail on the desktop, but the date shows one day earlier in the Android Contact.

The dates in question are before 1945, dates later than that seem to work.
(Actually I have only tried 1 date before 1945...
the workaround I used was to set the date to 1 day later in gmail, and it displays correctly on the phone.)

Is there a place to report this problem, so that someone will look at the code to see what's causing it?

Heck, I'd even be willing to debug the problem. Now that I have an Android phone I'm interested in getting involved with code development.
