When I go to sync my contacts with my Gmail account my phone only registers only half my contacts. Here is what it is doing it shows some as google contacts on my phone and the remaining ones it shows them listed as phone. I cannot figure out how to fix this. Please help.

I have info for you but I do not have a solution.

I purchased MyBackUp Pro to backup my contacts. Unfortunately, it doesn't! It backs up about half the list. I sent off an email to the writers, rerware and I received the following very brief reply.

"The other contacts may be SIM contacts. We only backup non-SIM contacts."

So far, I cannot find a way around the problem. I RTFM and came up with a way to add the SIM contacts to my phone list but the number of backups is still the same.

The easiest way to do it would be to use an app to export all your contacts as a CSV and then import them to gmail via the web interface. I'm pretty sure the one that does this is called Export Contacts
