On my old Omnia, I could plug it into my PC or Linux box and pull up a little window the exact size of the screen and control everything with my mouse.

Launch apps, play games, browse the internet...anything I could normally do on the phone.

It was awesome for getting away with sending texts during class and now that I'm working full-time, i'd like the same ability.

So I ask...is there an app for that? (sorry )

Yeah, I loved that little feature. I hope people like Necosino who have moved to Android start developing again and can replicate some of the pluses to WinMo

The Omnia was like the Civic of phone, affordable and easily customizable

YAY! Haha, good. I never left omniaroms.com and used your stuff a lot so I'd be happy to test, and dontate to, anything you can get working. Will you being doing ROMs too? Or is Android to far off from WinMo for your skillset to be applied?

I hope to get into ROMs as well, it's not a whole lot different than the Omnia ROMs, but there are people out here that have been making them for over a year already that will have something stable and awesome out by the time that I put out something shakey, lol..

So for right now I'm just focusing on app development.

I can certainly try, lol.. I have a lot of ideas myself, too.. but they've mostly failed so far (it takes a lot to build an app from scratch)

How hard is it to start doing something like that? I'm no genius but I pick up on things quick and I'd love to make something of my own (even if its simple and useless) and eventually have an app I could use.

If there is anything I can do, or if you have some resources or other stuff I could read to brush up on whatever language is necessary, let me know.

PM me if you want or email, admin@theinformnation.com
