    My area has sucky Sprint service. I'm not going to spend good money on a phone where some of the features don't even work. AT&T/Verizon have excellent coverage and are pretty big here.

    I loathe the thought of not getting my sought after EVO. It was gonna be my first "big girl" phone.

    even without the 4g the evo is still pretty top tier. i would hope you at least get 3g? i hope the 4g works in my area though because it's a huge deal to me but i think i'm still getting it regardless.

    You already answered your question... there's really nothing that can be done about this besides beg Sprint to put up more towers.
