T-Mobile stock Gel case. it adds to bulkiness but it's a good grip and worth it IMHO

I personally couldn't stand the gel skin, it was way to bulky for my taste, especially since i carry mine around in my pocket. Another way to go is to get a Zagg skin. I haven't gotten one myself but a friend has had one on two phones (MT3G and N1) and both phones have stayed looking like new. In screen covers I'm not a big fan of the way the Zagg cover feels but so far I absolutely love the Tmo G2 cover, hardly and screen smudges. Anyway there are my two cents, hope it helps.

i personallu love the case i got from the tmobile store. i wouldnt call it a "gel" case simply because its not like a gel material. its more of a hard rubber, and it yields great protection. yes it adds bulkiness but i love it. i just wish i was ballsy enough to keep my phone out of the case..the phone is so pretty by itself!

In this modern era of unibody brushed metal and scratch-proof glass, I would say you don't need one. All the cases I've seen compromise the trackpad, or the thinness of the phone, or something else. I can understand wanting one if you're a construction worker or something, but, for me at least, I can rely on the toughness of the phone itself. I hope I'm not proven wrong. I've put it through fairly heavy use for more than three weeks now, and it's still as good as new.

I have yet to find a case I like but if you need something asap you can use the gel/rubber skin or the clear hard case with the kickstand from the Tmo store. I'm still searching for that sleek, clear case. The phone just released so there's not much choice off the bat. Doesn't help when you got other devices being released. Let us know if anybody find anything good.

I was also thinking of the Zagg. I read on the Tmo's forums that the G2's glass is Gorilla Glass or whatever. Is that true?

i've uploaded a pic of me holdin' my phone with the pink case that i bought from the t-mobile store and i have to say, I LOVE IT. it does add bulkiness to it but it protects the phone pretty well. the case that covers the front of the screen has a little bump so it sticks out without the screen being flat if that makes any sense. it was worth it. i'm not sure if they're still having the promotion but when you buy 2 accessories at the store, it's 20% off and 3 accessories for 30% off. so i got the case and the screen protector. i really do enjoy the anti-smear screen protector. works really well!
