Hi, I've been having some problems lately with a lot of crashes, and would really appreciate some help.

Whenever I use the data connection, the phone crashes and it reboots. Sometimes it happens some minutes after browsing, other times it happens once the packets start flowing, and other times instantly just after a reboot, which forces another reboot again.

Some applications started crashing too, mostly games. Since a couple of days ago I've been getting some restarts just browsing on the settings too.

I did a factory reset which proved unsuccessful, and I've been wondering how to do a full wipe of the system to reinstall Android and hope that fixes it. However, I fear it could be a bad memory block or some hardware problem that's causing the crashes.

AFAIK, there haven't been any incidents (drops, spills, etc), the problem just started happening and has increased in frequency.

Does anyone have some advice to what I should do?

Also, could someone guide me to how do I reinstall Froyo?

Thanks a lot for any help.

If you want to do everthing, back up and format your SD card, then download: http://www.shipped-roms.com/shipped...le_WWE_2.16.1700.1_FRG33_MFG_Shipment_ROM.zip

Extract the zip file from it, rename it passimg.zip, and copy it to the SD card. Power off the phone, hold Vol- and power on. It should detect the file and ask to install.

The phone is now fresh installed, and should shortly OTA itself to the latest version.

Connect it to a PC, then drag and drop.

For messages, SMS Backup & Restore.

Well, that didn't fix the problems. I'm out of ideas now.

    Does anyone have any advice?

    :(

Edit: I was getting reboots just as soon as I got connected to the carrier. So I tried reinstalling the passimg, and the radio update failed, saying PU fail (partition update).

Possibly. I don't know too much about sim technology but it can lead to various problems.
Get a new sim or try with a different one first if a new will cost you.

Hey all, just wanted to mention that I've also been experiencing some issues in regards to random restarts.

Running FRF83D and I have already tried a factory reset which hasn't solved much.

Restarts have occurred primarily with the maps application as well as the browser.

Running the stock OS. i.e not Rooted.

Any info or possible solutions to this problem are appreciated.

    Thanks.
