I've posted here a few times and the replies have been extremely helpful. I have a limited data plan right now so I only want to use Wi-Fi and completely disable data over mobile networks. I checked the "data enabled" box. For the past couple weeks, that has been fine and I've occasionally checked the setting to make sure it was still disabled. Just recently I noticed it was turned back on, so I turned it off. I check it again, it was turned on again, so I turned it off AGAIN. Something is forcing that setting to change, I am unsure what it is. I have "My Data manager Free" to monitor the data being sent over the mobile network. I also have advanced task killer to monitor what applications are open. I am using applications that require data, but not strictly mobile data and to my knowledge these applications never forced data over mobile networks to be enabled. I have the "Data enabled" widget on my home screen to quickly display what state the setting is in. It appears as if every time I turn it on, 5 minutes later (or sooner) it's turned back on. I don't believe I had this problem before, so I would have to assume it's something I've installed on my phone. Task killer and data manager aren't giving me any information that would indicate one of these applications forces the "Data enabled" setting. Any information or suggestions you might have, I appreciate thanks!
