i have an att. quick messaging phone with a 30 dollar unlimited text/data plan.. if i buy an unlocked nexus s (ATT doesnt carry the phone) can i swap sim cards and still have unlimited data/text for 30 dollars? since the IMEI number wont/shouldn't show up when using att 3g network since the phone is not sold by att?
my friend has a nokia n8 that he bought unlocked and is using his data/text plan he got when he had an att phone he bought from att. The imei number on the n8 isnt in att's network and when he logs into his att account online it still shows his old phone that he had, not the n8?
