date in title bar?

I'd like to put the date in the title bar. Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated.

There are numerous apps in Market which have that feature, dlmeckes. Just do a search in Market under something such as, "notification bar date," etc.

I did not have the correct search terms.

I guess my question should have been, "what do you call that thing at the top of the screen?"

Yeah, it gets referred to as "title bar," "tool bar" and "notification bar."

It's officially the notification bar. I keep it hidden for more screen space, via Launcher Pro configuration. It can be made visible by touching the "home" soft key while on the home screen.

touching the notification bar.. gives you the date.

the lockscreen gives you the date.

is that not enough?
