Help default email app stuck at refreshing

when i try to check email(hotmail) it just stuck on refreshing for a while
internet is working

Do you have background data and auto sync enabled?
If you do that won't be the problem so open the email app press menu and try manually refreshing.
If that doesn't work try settings, applications, manage applications and clear data for the email app.

i was using wifi, same thing with 3g
i had to try the app a few times to get it to work
do u know wut went wrong

I don't really know what causes it but it's happened to me a few times. A manual refresh usually sorts it for me though.

manual refresh doen'st do anything for me it just stuck on refreshing

so is this a known issue? done'st seem to happen with gmail app

Don't really think its that common it's just one of those things which happens now and again.

does it have anything to do with wife or 3g? or it's entirely the app's fault

If your wifi or 3g signal is fine then I'd say it's to do with the app.

weird thing is it wasn't happening with just hotmail. now i added another email so it has 2 that's when problem happened

Remove the newly-added account and see if the problem goes away. If it does then double-check the settings when you add it back. If the problem reoccurs and the account settings are correct then the issue is with the account's mail server(s).

If the problem presists with only the Hotmail account active then the problem is likely a routing or server problem with Hotmail and will rectify itself in time.

but when it stops working both accounts stop working, and when it works both account works
and same thign with both wifi and 3g

i have cleared cache, cleared data, readded the 2 accounts again and still problem occurs every 5 min

ok i found out what the problem is. if i have both wifi and 3g going on at the same time email will stuck at refreshing, doen'st matter which account. if i turn wifi or 3g off, it works

I had the same problem the other day, good to know if this happens again to try turning either one off as I did probably have Wifi and 3G on.
