    Hi all

I got this phone yesterday. My friend also recently got this phone. We both have the same problem.

Basically if we receive a message, we can read it. Close it and the home screen still shows a "1" on it as though we haven't read it.

How do we set it so that once a message is read, its closed

Going into your inbox isn't enough, you have to click on the message thread before it will register as read.

I did that but it still wouldnt budge.

I've since replaced the default messaging app with Handcent and swapped the widgets round.

My only problem now is the LED only blinks green. Is that because thats the only one?

I couldn't change the colour of the notification LED either :( the phone does have an Orange LED for when it's on charge, but i haven't looked to see if Orange was an option when assigning a notification LED colour.
