Hey pattianneu, welcome to Android Forums!

It's been a while since I've had the Gnex, but I believe when you're viewing an image with the gallery app, you can press an icon towards the top of the screen that has some squares... this is the 'menu' button. It should have a delete function there.

Or, if you'd like, you could install a file explorer (I've used astro and ES in the past), where you could navigate to the directory and delete several at one time.

Again, welcome to the site, and I hope that info helps you out! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! :)

You can always wipe data on the gallery app and it will delete any pictures that are not saved like pics that are synced to g+
