    Auto delete complete data after wrong password for 10 tries

    Does HTC Desire has this features?

    if not, what are other ways to protect our personal data that you know of?

    Maybe some security app can do that. I've read about some in the past that can do that, but haven't tried one myself.

    App Protector Pro.

    That's a nice way of keeping people out of any apps or folders you don't want them changing. Messages, Photos settings etc.

    If you have a security lock pattern on the phone i think it locks you out pretty fast and you can only open it by having the correct Google account details and I assume entering the correct pattern to begin with.

    The lock pattern gives you 5 attempts, then it locks you out. Wait for 30 seconds and you then get a prompt for your google account and password to regain use of the phone.
