    Hi All,

Well ive had my desire for about a week now and absolutly love it, my first android phone, came from blackberry/WM previously and I have got to say its great. HTC really did amazing things with this phone.

Just one question which I keep thinking about is my screen, i know its made with glass & at the minute i have a screen protector on there.

But just wondering how I would go about cleaning it? Would I use glass cleaner?? or just standard "touch screen cleaning kits" do the job?

    Thanks

    Dan

i use my old mans vinyl record cleaner, its basically alcohol based, few squirts wipe with a microfibre cloth and its as if ive just got it new out of the box once more. unfortunantley his 'really expensive' record cleaner is going down rapidly cause of my big greasey sausage fingers. once the novelty of the phone wears off it wont stay dirty for to long, but i dont think it ever will!!!!!! HTC RULESSSS

Just rub with a microfibre cloth and it'll be fine. You can also use a solution of Vinegar and water (10% Vinegar), spray the solution onto a microfibre cloth, rub the screen gently and it'll work a treat. This is also fantastic for cleaning monitor screens, just remember to rub gently especially with LCD's.

I use either a microfibre cloth or my t shirt mainly. However i do have camera lens cleaning kits that i may use from time to time. My t shirt generally tends to get rid of the fingerprints though. its scratches that worry me!

I just lick it followed by a t-shirt wipe.

I just rub it with my t-shirt, comes up fine. No point wasting expensive cleaning fluid when it's going to get smeared with prints within five minutes if you need to check your texts or something.

I have some optical wipes and can usually clean my glasses and they're still good to clean my screen as well.

Got a pack of 200 from Costco.

Use the sleeve of my shirt, and once in a while I'll use some wipes that I have for my glasses, same kind as nx1977 I suppose.

I second the micro-fibre glass cleaning cloths. You can get them from high street opticians, and while you're there, pick up some of the cleaning solution, it's excellent for removing greasy smears from glass (I use it on my raybans), you just spray it on and leave it for about 10 minutes to dry, then clean the screen once it's dry with the micro-fibre cloth. I bought a big can for about
