Help Desire wont connect to wifi

I have a weird problem where possibly once a week i have to change the channel on the router so my desire can connect via wifi, surely this isnt normal. When it wont connect the phone will say connecting then says connected to network name then it says connecting then says connected. I dont change any settings so not sure why it happens. Funny thing is it isnt just my phone as well as my brother has an iphone and cant connect either whencant connect.

I do have another router i can try so ill try that, if i have time ill do it tomorrow.

Changed the router and so far it seems to be ok,
