Is there a way to get a desk lock that goes into landscape and has weather? Similar to what was on the droid in the dock?

Yeah, it would be nice to have a nice looking screen to use when my phone's charging and on the kickstand.

That's the only thing I don't like about Sense. I wish I could set my homepage to landscape when charging.

use the other clock program on the phone..theres a button with a clock and moon on it..hit that and it will go dim but you can still see the time....then lay the phone sideways on its kickstand for a night clock.

Yeah, even after dimming it will still shut the screen off after a bit.

Also the clock text is too small. I have this huge screen adn the clock is like 1 inch wide.

You can also get there by clicking on the HTC clock on the home screen. The choice next to the moon is for an undimmed version of the screensaver clock.

I too would like the desk clock to rotate so that I can still see the weather and such. Maybe that will come in the Android 2.2 update from HTC.

The developer of Kaloer Clock - Night Clock says he is working on adding weather right now. You can see it on the alarm view but he's adding it to the clock.

I use it in landscape as my nightstand clock.

Just downloaded it and using it right now.

The stock Desk Clock will only stay on if the phone is charging. Since my bed is far from any usable outlet (I have one on the wall next to it but my phone falls between the wall and the mattress so I don't use it), I needed an option that can keep the screen on all night.

Hope I don't get burn in lol.

Are we positive it will stay on while charging? Mine is never on when I check it in the morning.

It does exist for our Evo's. Thanks for asking about it. I found what you guys are looking for and I can confirm it works and works well.

Labs: DeskClock - Android app on AppBrain

I've attached some pics of it running on my evo.

yes. i started using the oem clock a couple days ago. i keep the phone plugged in all the time and defiantly at night and the clock stays lit. it moves around the screen as well just how the windows screen saver does to prevent burn in. you can set alarms also...
