    Hello,

How can I find the IP address for the DHCP server my Nexus One is attached to?

I am having a dual-DHCP server conflict but I do not know what the second server is and I do not know how to find the DHCP server IP address on my android phone.

    Thanks,
    Phil

    Welcome to the forums, mrpotts.

I'm placed your question in the Nexus One forums for you.

i don't think you can ,i don't know of any way in any phone to find out the automatic address that it gets from the router.

there is a way to enter it manually you know ..

If you use the terminal app, you can issue an 'arp -a' to list the full arp table. If you perform this IMMEDIATELY after a dhcp offer, the server that gave the offer *should* be the only IP in the list.

There's a free app Network Info II that will provide DHCP server and lease details (amongst many other things) - highly useful tool to have for diagnostics.
