Develop / Adapt JAVA programs to android

Hey there

Im new on the forum as i found it while searching for this matter.

Is there any way to adapt a JAVA developed program or even its JAR / JAD to a android apk?


I own a sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro and have been programming JAVA for a couple of years nothing too professional though just for personal user.

I found myself wondering how great it would be to manage to adapt or even start developing apps for my droid.
