'Devices' section missing from play store app

Hi all,

My problem is this.

When I go to Google play online, there are 4 different sections - Apps, Books, Movies and Devices.

But when I use my phone and go to the Google play app, the devices section is missing.

I am in the UK and the Nexus 7 is now available and so far the only device available from Google play in the UK.

Anyone know why the app doesn't show the devices section, and consequently why we cant purchase devices directly from our hand sets using the Google play app?

Not really a show stopper, just an annoyance.

Hmmm, here in the US I have:

All 6 from the website - Apps, Music, Books, Magazines, Movies, Devices
Only 5 on my TF101 tablet - Apps, Music, Books, Magazines, Movies
Only 4 on my Droid X phone - Apps, Music, Books, Movies

Looks like Google is narrowing the Play experience based on the device.

I think Devices is only available in the US at the moment. It might be restricted by your phone carrier in the UK

I've never seen the "devices " section when using the app on a mobile device. I've only ever seen it when using a browser. I'm currently using a Verizon branded galaxy nexus, but the same has held true for all android mobile devices I've owned.

I'm in the US btw.

I havent seen devices either on any of my android devices when using the play store app.

i only get in on my laptop.
Phone--apps-music-books-magazine-movies/tv
Tablet--same as above
which is quite annoying since i use the tablet more to surf and you would think it may act more like the laptop (but it is a big 10"phone).
